Reps to probe TETFund over N2.3trn tertiary education tax fund
THE House of Representatives has said it will investigate the alleged abuse of N2.3 trillion tertiary education tax by the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) from 2011 to 2013.
The resolution was passed during plenary on Tuesday, July 4, after the adoption of a motion co-sponsored by Olusola Fatoba, David Fouh and Zakari Nyanpa.
The lower chamber has also established an ad hoc committee to investigate the alleged fund abuse and report back within four weeks.

Dutsin-Ma federal varsity secures accreditation for 23 undergraduate, 21 PG programs
The Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, FUDMA, in Katsina State, says it has secured accreditation for about 23 new full-time undergraduate and 21 Postgraduate, PG, programmes.

The House of Representatives yesterday set up an Ad-hoc Committee to investigate the alleged abuse of N2.3 trillion generated from the Tertiary Education Trust Fund from 2011 to 2013, and report back within four weeks for further legislative action.

Kings’ College Parents Lament School Management’s Response towards Infections Ravaging Students
Some concerned parents of Kings’ College, Lagos, have expressed dismay over the manner the management of the school is handling an alleged water borne infection which gave rise to fever, resulting in blisters on various parts of the skin of some students and subsequent admission of others into the hospital.
