The CCO of the Crystal Education Media have announced the commencement of the In-school Communication and Media Training. The training which is designed to open windows for learners across the Primary and Secondary section is designed to give them an opportunity to learn and master the skill of speech presentation, public speaking, critical writing, conducting media interview, writing promotional news for their schools and lots more.

School resumption: Ex-Minister, Adedoja urges parents to invest in education of children

A former Minister of Sports and Special Duties, Professor Taoheed Adedoja, has admonished parents to invest more in the education of their children as schools resume nationwide for the new academic calendar year.

Ajayi Crowther scholars get N25m grant for research in agriculture, humanities

No fewer than fifty scholars of Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, will undertake research in agriculture, humanities, engineering, and other fields of the discipline as the university management announced winners for the 2023 academic research grant facilitated by its Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council, Dr Olutoyin Okeowo.

Criminalise child abuse to boost infant health, don urges FG

A Professor at the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health at the University of Ilorin, Muhammed Adeboye, has encouraged the federal government and stakeholders to criminalize child abuse in order to ensure that children live healthy and productive lives.

Delivering the 241st inaugural lecture of the university, titled, “Myriads and Hazy Qualms in Child’s Global Health and The Brain”, the foremost medical scholar stressed the need to mete adequate punishment on parents or guardians that maltreat their children or wards in order to ensure that the lives of the younger ones are protected. NUC not COREN supervises UNICAL — VC

Prof Florence Obi, Vice Chancellor (VC) of the University of Calabar (UniCal), has disclosed that UniCal was supervised by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and not the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

Gov Zulum appoints Abubakar new Ramat Poly rector

Lagos educates staff on challenges of urban development
