AAU senate mulls early resumption, insists no fee hike

Relief may soon come for students of the Edo state-owned Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, which was closed two weeks ago, as the university’s Senate announced that it would soon meet to consider the resumption of academic activities.

Out-of-school children: Nigeria needs additional 20,000 schools, 907,769 classrooms – UBEC

THE Universal Basic Education Commission has disclosed that Nigeria currently needs an additional 20,000 schools and 907,769 classrooms to be able to absorb the over 10.5 million out-of-school children in the country.

Unpaid salaries: We’re in talks with Gov Kefas — Taraba ASUU

Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), Taraba State University Jalingo on Tuesday, disclosed that the union is in serious talks with Governor Agbu Kefas to ensure stable salaries for the institution’s lecturers.

US court orders release of Tinubu’s academic records requested by Atiku

A United States District Court in the Northern District of Illinois has granted the request made by the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, for the release of President Bola Tinubu’s academic records by Chicago State University.

In a ruling delivered by US Magistrate, Judge Jeffrey Gilbert on Tuesday, the court ordered Chicago State University to provide “all relevant and non-privileged documents” to Atiku Abubakar within two days. TLASUTH Speaks On Death Of Boy With Missing Intestine

The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) has revealed arrangements to transfer the boy whose intestines went missing in the process of surgery, Adebola Akin-Bright, to Great Ormond Street Hospital in the UK, were in the final stages before his demise.
