Aims to Cultivate Student Talent in Arts, Drama, Media, Critical Thinking, and Spoken Word
[Guidna Community, FCT Abuja] – On September 21, 2023, the Crystal Education Media team launched a comprehensive Media and Communication Training program at Bedrock Global Academy, situated in the heart of the Guidna community in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. The initiative aims to unleash the potential of students in various creative disciplines, including Arts and Drama, Media and Communication, Critical Thinking and Writing, and Spoken Word.
The Guidna community welcomed this exciting endeavor with enthusiasm, as it provides a unique opportunity for students to develop their skills and talents in the aforementioned areas. Bedrock Global Academy, a budding institution just two weeks old, has quickly become the center of excellence for nurturing young minds and encouraging their artistic and intellectual growth.
The Crystal Education Team, comprised of skilled professionals in the fields of media and communication, will be overseeing and coordinating the training program. Notable members of the team include Lizzy Jimoh, Patience Okosun, and Chuks Crystal, all of whom are renowned for their expertise in mentoring and training young talent.
The comprehensive training program will be divided into several segments to cater for the diverse interests and talents of the students:
- Arts and Drama Team: Students with a flair for the dramatic arts will receive specialized coaching in acting, stagecraft, and theatrical production.
- Media and Communication Team: Participants will learn the essentials of media production, journalism, and effective communication, providing them with practical skills for the media industry.
- Critical Thinking and Writing Team: This segment will focus on enhancing students’ critical thinking abilities, equipping them with the tools to craft persuasive and well-reasoned arguments in both written and spoken forms.
- Spoken Word Team: Aspiring poets and spoken word artists will have the opportunity to refine their performance skills, harnessing the power of words to inspire and provoke thought.
