Two Lagos teachers make top 50 finalists for $1m global prize

Covenant ranked best as UI, FUTA, others make top 10 varsities in Nigeria

Forex: Nigerian lecturers on foreign scholarship seek TETFund bailout

Some Nigerian lecturers studying in foreign institutions under the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) Scholarship for Academic Staff (TSAS) have appealed to the Fund for a bailout to cater for shortfalls in their living expenses occasioned by fluctuations in Foreign Exchange.

Confirming the development, the TETFund said it specifically noted appeals from scholars in Malaysia, India and Kenya, saying some of them had also written to the Minister of Education and the Fund, requesting for intervention to enable them to complete their studies in their respective institutions. FUTMinna to establish technological innovation park

The Vice-Chancellor, Federal University of Technology, Minna, Prof. Faruk Adamu Kuta has expressed his management’s willingness to establish a Technological Innovation Park (TIP) where products generated from research activities shall be showcased with a view to preserving them and stimulating the interest of younger generations towards research and innovation for national development.

How states can access senior secondary fund – NSSEC

How Six Final Year LAUTECH Students, Driver Got Burnt To Death In Osun

Casualty figures in the fatal accident involving some Ladoke Akintola University (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso students, on Thursday rose from three to six following the death of another three passengers at the hospital where they were being treated after the crash.
