This week, our focus is on the subject that forms the bedrock of logical thinking and problem-solving – Mathematics. Participants from both the Primary and Secondary categories are invited to share their personal views on Mathematics, providing insights into the significance of this integral subject.

Primary Category Challenge:

  1. Introduction:
  • Begin by introducing yourself, stating your name and grade.
  • Share a brief personal experience or anecdote related to Mathematics.
  1. Personal View:
  • Express your personal feelings about Mathematics. Do you find it challenging, exciting, or both?
  • Share any memorable moments or achievements related to the subject.
  1. Others’ View:
  • Optionally, share quotes or viewpoints about Mathematics from notable figures or educators.
  • Highlight any positive perspectives or misconceptions people may have about the subject.
  1. Significance of Mathematics:
  • Discuss the importance of Mathematics in daily life, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Explore how Mathematics contributes to your understanding of the world around you.

Secondary Category Challenge:

  1. Introduction:
  • Introduce yourself, mentioning your name, grade, and any relevant mathematical achievements or interests.
  1. Personal View:
  • Share your personal perspective on Mathematics. How has it shaped your academic journey or influenced your interests?
  • Discuss any challenges you’ve faced with the subject and how you’ve overcome them.
  1. Others’ View:
  • Present perspectives from renowned mathematicians, scientists, or educators on the beauty and significance of Mathematics.
  • Address any common myths or stereotypes about Mathematics and provide your insights.
  1. Significance of Mathematics:

Recording Tips:

NOTE RECORDING WILL BE CAPTURED VIRTUALLY FROM OUR STUDIO VIA ZOOM

  1. Duration:
  • Primary Category: 3-5 minutes per presentation.
  • Secondary Category: 5-7 minutes per presentation

Capturing will be done on Wednesday 6th March 2024. Starting from 9:30am and ends by 4:30pm supplementary capturing will be done on Saturday by 9:30am to 10:30am
