The Oyo State government has called for calm among parties involved in the ongoing crisis at Ajayi Crowther University, Oyo, and has urged security agencies to investigate and determine the root cause of the incident for appropriate action.

In a statement on Tuesday, May 28, Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Salihu Adelabu, said that the state government is in discussions with the university management to find lasting solutions to the crisis.

He emphasized that the Seyi Makinde-led administration is committed to providing a peaceful environment for academic excellence and urged students to adhere to the rules and regulations set by their institutions.
