Crystal Education Media hosted the Crystal Education School Press Workshop 1.0, at Kubwa, Abuja June 5th, marking the event with the official launch of the new Crystal Education T.V. Application.

Learners from Seed of Glory Int’l School , Universal Setting Academy, and Springfield Champion Academy, all in Kubwa and The New Vine Academy, Bwari, actively participated in the event. Chidi Nwachukwu (Journalist), Ruth Ojumu (legal practioner) and Chuks O. Joshua (CCO of the CEM) were handy to handle the training session on Feature writing, Public Speaking and News writing.

The highlight of the workshop was the finals of the Students Presenters’ Challenge, where the finalists of the Students’ Presenter Challenge discussed the controversial change of the Nigerian anthem back to the old national anthem.

The contest was interesting and challenging as Chidiebere Joan (SS3) and Esan Praise (SS2) both from The New Vine and Tiamiu Damola (JSS 2) from Seed of Glory. Obodo Favour of The Vine Int’l Academy was missing as the trio fought for the winner against the four supposed contestants. The Judge in announcing the result gave the top 1 position and the Student Presenter Challenge winner to Chidiebere Joan who by their judgement emerged as the winner. She received a Check of 40,000 Naira for her achievement sponsored by the 12th City Real Estate.
