At the 2024 Graduation Ceremony of Christ the King Royal Academy in Ubulu-Uku, Delta State, award-winning journalist Mr. Anthony Awunor urged students nationwide to dedicate themselves to their studies rather than seeking quick wealth through inappropriate means.

Addressing the graduates, Awunor emphasized that hard work, focus, and consistency are the true paths to success.

Awunor expressed concern over the “get rich quick” mentality among youths, warning that ill-gotten wealth is unsustainable. He encouraged the graduates to be good ambassadors of their school and to honor the legacy of the academy’s founder, Late Mr. Charles Ujih, who was dedicated to education and hard work. Awunor highlighted Ujih’s contributions to the community, which earned him the title of ‘Ubulu Ezemu Education Promoter of the Year 2021.’
