Nubian American Advanced College, located off Chevron Road, Lekki, Lagos, has received official approval from the Minister of Education to establish the institution, effective August 1, 2024, in accordance with ACT CAP E3 LPN 2004.

The college has also been granted interim accreditation for its Business Administration and Management programs by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE).

Dr. Patrick Oyinkari, Provost of the college, highlighted that Nubian American Advanced College is pioneering associate degree programs in Nigeria. These two-year programs offer American-style education locally, with the option to transfer credits to universities in the USA and Nigeria.

Students will benefit from professional, technical, and vocational training, preparing them for employment and entrepreneurial opportunities.

In a letter from Prof. Idris M. Bugaje, Executive Secretary of the NBTE, the college’s proprietor, Dr. Azhinoto Ikpah, was informed of both the Minister’s and the Board’s approvals. The NBTE authorized the college to begin admitting students for the 2024/2025 academic session, advising adherence to the approved program standards.
