The Lagos State Signage and Advertisement Agency (LASAA) has partnered with the Omoo Dadaa Foundation to distribute school bags and books to pupils at Ojodu Primary School as part of their “Back to School” program.

Held yesterday, the initiative aims to promote education while emphasizing environmental sustainability through innovative recycling methods. Attendees included dignitaries such as Segun Odunmbaku, Executive Chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area, Prince Fatiu Akiolu, Managing Director of LASAA, and Mr. Niyi Dada, Founder of Omoo Dadaa Foundation. The program focuses on transforming used flex materials from advertising billboards into durable school bags, which will aid students as they embark on a new school term.

Odunmbaku praised the collaborative effort, noting the significant impact on the local education landscape and expressing hopes for similar initiatives to reach more schools within the LCDA. Akiolu reaffirmed LASAA’s commitment to social responsibility, emphasizing that the agency will continue to support community-driven programs that foster both education and environmental sustainability.

Dada highlighted the foundation’s mission to create solutions that combine social good with environmental stewardship, encouraging students to fully utilize the resources provided.
