The University of Westminster has introduced its Sanctuary Scholarship, offering a fully funded opportunity for students seeking a Master’s degree in the UK.
This scholarship provides a full tuition fee waiver and a £1,000 living allowance for 12 months, specifically targeting individuals with refugee status or those seeking asylum who lack access to traditional financial support.
To be eligible for the 2025 academic year, applicants must have an offer for a full-time Master’s course starting in September 2024 or January 2025 and must reside in the UK with specific immigration statuses. Importantly, individuals with a prior Master’s degree or those eligible for taught postgraduate loans are not eligible for this scholarship.
Interested candidates should secure admission to a relevant Master’s program and complete the Sanctuary Scholarship application form, submitting it along with academic transcripts to scholarships@westminster.ac.uk by November 22, 2024. The university encourages all eligible applicants to seize this opportunity for further education.
