The Community Innovation Hub (CIH) in Lagos recently welcomed educators from the United States and Nigeria, alongside representatives from the Limitless Space Institute (LSI) and IHS Towers.

This visit was part of the Global Limitless Educator Program, aimed at transforming space science education across Africa.

During the event, CIH Executive Director Mr. Soji Megbowon praised the initiative as a vital contribution to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 4, which emphasizes quality education. He noted the hub’s role in fostering a network of space science educators and nurturing future scientists and engineers through technology-driven learning.

Among the highlights was the introduction of “Astro Edu,” a virtual reality tool developed by Erioluwa Olowoyo, designed to enhance understanding of space science. The event underscored CIH’s commitment to empowering young Africans and fostering innovation in the field, reinforcing its status as a pivotal player in advancing space science education across the continent.
