The Community Innovation Hub (CIH) in Lagos recently welcomed the Limitless Space Institute (LSI) and IHS Towers, along with 15 educators from the U.S. and Nigeria, as part of the Global Limitless Educator Program.

This initiative aims to enhance space science education across Africa, aligning with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 4 for quality education.

During the event, Mr. Soji Megbowon, Executive Director of Teenpreneurs Educational Foundation, highlighted CIH’s role in nurturing future space scientists and engineers. The gathering featured inspiring speeches from LSI’s Mrs. Kaci Heins and IHS Towers’ Ms. Asmau Smaila, both emphasizing the importance of technology and innovation in advancing space exploration.

The program showcased various innovative projects, including Astro Edu, a virtual reality solution developed by Erioluwa Olowoyo, designed to immerse learners in space science. The visit concluded with feedback sessions, reinforcing CIH’s commitment to empowering young innovators and fostering a vibrant community of future space professionals across Africa.
