In an unprecedented academic feat, two students of Redeemer’s University have tied for the highest CGPA.

Felix-Ibe Favour and Kehinde Anjolaoluwa, both from the Department of Psychology, each achieved an outstanding CGPA of 4.96.This marks the first time in the history of Redeemer’s University, and among all private universities in Nigeria, that two students have shared the top honor.

The university’s 2024 convocation celebrated this milestone while graduating 1,440 students, including 1,055 undergraduates and 385 postgraduates. Vice Chancellor of Redeemer’s University expressed his gratitude, highlighting the significance of the “More Than Conqueror” set. He commended the graduates for their perseverance and faith, emphasizing that the institution has nurtured them to become transformative leaders and ambassadors of hope.

The convocation also saw 86 first-class graduates, including two distinctions from the Nursing Department. This year’s ceremony was further marked by the graduation of the first cohorts from the Architecture, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering programs.
