Darum Noor by Intercontinental Schools, Kano, has won the National Company of the Year competition, sponsored by FirstBank, beating 11 schools nationwide.

The victory secures the school’s spot in the African Company of the Year competition in Mauritius.

The competition, themed “Greenoovation,” was organized by Junior Achievement Nigeria. Darum Noor impressed judges with its innovative Smart Sprinkler project aimed at boosting farmers’ production through advanced irrigation.

FirstBank’s MD/CEO, Olusegun Alebiosu, highlighted the bank’s commitment to youth entrepreneurship through its FutureFirst initiative, which has impacted over 1.5 million students.
