The Lagos State Government, through the Lagos Safety Commission, has hosted a one-day seminar on “Building a Strong Cyber Safety Awareness” for schools across the state.

Held at Balmoral Event Centre, Ikeja, the event aimed to raise awareness of cyber threats among students from public and private schools.

Director-General of the Safety Commission, Lanre Mojola, emphasized the growing risks of cyberbullying, phishing scams, and online predators, stressing the importance of educating young people on online safety. The initiative, in partnership with Safe Schools Alliance, is part of the state’s commitment to creating a safer digital environment.

Lagos also reaffirmed its dedication to eradicating cyber attacks, with a focus on protecting students from digital threats through proactive education and awareness programs.
