The Federal University Lokoja (FUL), Kogi State, has awarded first-class honors to 41 students during its eighth convocation ceremony, held at the Felele campus.

Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olayemi Akinwumi, announced the achievement on Monday, along with a breakdown of the students’ performance. A total of 461 students graduated with Second Class Upper degrees, 974 with Second Class Lower, 384 with Third Class, and 3 with a Pass.

Prof. Akinwumi commended the graduates for their dedication and hard work, stating that their accomplishments are a source of pride for the institution. He also announced that honorary degrees would be conferred on distinguished individuals who have significantly contributed to the development of the university and the nation.

The Vice-Chancellor urged the graduates to carry forward the values of respect, integrity, and diligence as they embark on the next phase of their careers.
