In a major initiative supporting education for the underprivileged, Fejiro Oliver Samson, CEO of Excella B Group and co-founder of the Network Against Corruption and Trafficking (NACAT), has renovated, remodeled, and fully furnished Christ City Mission School, a nursery and primary school in Lugbe, Abuja.

The upgraded facility, serving disadvantaged and special-needs children, was commissioned on October 27, 2024, to mark Samson’s birthday.

The project, which provided modern classroom furniture, educational materials, playground equipment, and other amenities, aims to uplift educational standards in underserved communities, creating a welcoming learning environment for over 200 students.

Speaking at the inauguration, Samson stressed the transformative role of education: “The only way for a child to succeed is through education, and it starts with a conducive learning environment.” He urged others to take similar steps to rejuvenate schools in marginalized areas.

School founder Mrs. Caro Shalom expressed profound gratitude, describing Samson’s contributions as investments in the future of the children. “Every donation he has made is an investment in the lives we serve here,” she said, noting the school’s mission to offer free education to children from impoverished backgrounds, including those rescued from trafficking.

The event, attended by NACAT staff, community members, and dignitaries, highlighted the extensive improvements: new tiles, roof repairs, a computer room, a water tank, and outdoor landscaping. Social activist Iteveh Nurudeen, a friend of Samson, also contributed with a donation of N500,000 for the computer lab and additional educational resources, further enhancing the school’s capabilities.
