NNPC Ltd, alongside TotalEnergies, SAPETRO, CNOOC, and PRIME 130, has inaugurated a state-of-the-art mammography centre at the Federal University Teaching Hospital in Lafia, Nasarawa State, to enhance cancer detection and treatment.
This facility is the second of its kind, following the commissioning of a similar centre in Garkida, Adamawa State.
The new centre, equipped with advanced diagnostic technology such as the Senographe Pristina 3D mammography system, can conduct over 120 exams daily.
It aims to improve access to early cancer detection in Nasarawa and the North Central region, supporting NNPC Ltd.’s commitment to better healthcare in Nigeria.
The facility also aligns with TotalEnergies’ ongoing efforts to address healthcare challenges through strategic partnerships.
