The Federal Government, through the 3Million Technical Talent (3MTT) programme, has unveiled a plan to provide Nigerian youths with essential digital skills, as announced by Dr. Bosun Tijani, Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy.
During a visit to Teesas Education Learning Centre, a key training hub in the programme, Tijani emphasized that building technical expertise in areas like software development, AI, cloud computing, and more will lay the groundwork for a sustainable, tech-driven economy.
Teesas founder, Osayi Izedonmwen, expressed the company’s commitment to the 3MTT initiative, highlighting that their second training cohort includes 1,000 young participants. He pledged ongoing support to meet the program’s goal of developing Nigeria’s digital talent pipeline to boost both the national and global tech economy.
Dr. Tijani personally engaged with participants, discussing their experiences and learning outcomes, reinforcing the government’s commitment to creating job-ready tech talent across Nigeria.
