The Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of Pan-Atlantic University, in partnership with Mastercard Foundation, has launched a handbook aimed at promoting inclusive entrepreneurship in Nigeria.

The book, unveiled in Lagos, provides a guide for individuals and organizations focused on developing equitable entrepreneurship programs. Professor Enase Okonedo, Vice-Chancellor of Pan-Atlantic University, highlighted that the handbook is designed to help remove structural, financial, cultural, and gender-based barriers that hinder inclusive entrepreneurship.

Rosy Fynn, Country Director for Nigeria Programmes at Mastercard Foundation, emphasized the book’s potential to transform programming for vulnerable groups like women, persons with disabilities, internally displaced people, and youth.

Dr. Nneka Okekearu, Director of the Enterprise Development Centre, noted that after 21 years of entrepreneurship programs, the EDC identified critical gaps in inclusivity, which the handbook aims to address.
