Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has sanctioned ₦713 million for the 2024 Students’ Special Assistance Scheme, benefiting Delta State students in tertiary institutions nationwide.

Dr. Godfrey Enita, Executive Secretary of the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board, announced on Thursday that the bursary will cover 32,028 students from universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, schools of nursing, and military institutions.

Enita praised the initiative as a testament to the governor’s commitment to education and student welfare, urging beneficiaries to be exemplary ambassadors of Delta State.
