The Lagos State University (LASU) Senate has declared a four-week break for Christmas and New Year holidays across all its campuses.

In a statement by Yemisi Thomas-Onashile, Coordinator of the Centre for Information and Public Relations (CIPR), the break will commence on Monday, December 9, 2024, and end on Sunday, January 5, 2025.

Academic and social activities are set to resume on Monday, January 6, 2025. Students residing in hostels at LASU’s Ojo, LASUCOM, Epe, and Badagry campuses must vacate within 48 hours, starting at 8:00 a.m. on December 9.

The university management extended appreciation to staff and students for their commitment throughout the year and wished everyone a joyous festive season.
