Ethiopian Aviation University has celebrated the graduation of more than 460 aviation professionals, including international trainees from 10 African countries.

The graduation ceremony, held at the university’s facility, recognized the achievements of 132 pilots, 128 commercial trainees, 123 cabin crew, and 84 aircraft maintenance technicians. These graduates completed rigorous training programs in the university’s schools for pilot training, commercial and ground services, cabin crew and catering, and aviation maintenance.

Mr. Mesfin Tasew, Group Chief Executive Officer of Ethiopian Airlines, lauded the graduates’ accomplishments and highlighted the airline’s dedication to fostering African connectivity and developing skilled aviation professionals.

“As a Pan-African airline and the continent’s aviation giant, it is also a pleasure to extend our aviation training to other African nations and take a step further in realizing a well-connected Africa, where well-trained professionals support the industry. We are immensely proud of our graduates and their contributions to the aviation industry,” Tasew said.

Ethiopian Aviation University offers diverse undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including degrees in Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation Maintenance Engineering, Aviation Management and Operations, Tourism and Hospitality Management, and specialized graduate degrees such as an MSc in Data Science and an MBA in Aviation Management.

Additionally, the university provides diploma and certificate programs in fields such as pilot training, aircraft maintenance, cabin crew and commercial training, leadership development, and catering.

This milestone reinforces Ethiopian Airlines Group’s role in building Africa’s aviation industry through education and training, equipping graduates to excel in global aviation careers.
