The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University (LASU) has approved the commencement of online course registration for full-time undergraduate students for the First Semester of the 2024/2025 academic session. This was announced on Monday through a statement on the university’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, confirming that new and returning students can now access the registration portal.
LASU emphasized that students are required to pay at least 70% of their school fees for Stream 1 and 50% for Stream 2 before proceeding with course registration. Students must also complete related tasks, including course operations (adding or deleting courses if necessary), printing their registration/exam slips, and obtaining endorsements from their respective Heads of Departments (HOD).
For students who miss the regular registration deadline, LASU announced a late registration option, which includes a penalty fee of N5,000. The university urged all students to complete their payments and course registrations promptly, stating, “The entire students’ populace is enjoined to finalize both payments and course registration immediately to avoid penalties.”
