The Oyo State Government and the Aseyin of Iseyinland, Oba Sefiu Oyebola Adeyeri, have praised Olooye Adegboyega Adegoke, the Aare-Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, for his significant contribution to education through the construction of six classrooms for Koso Community Grammar School, Iseyin.

At the commissioning ceremony, Hon. Shakirat Hamzat, Chairperson of the School Governing Board (SGB), expressed gratitude on behalf of the state government and the school community. She commended Adegoke’s dedication to the progress of his alma mater and described his generosity as a meaningful complement to the state government’s educational goals. “Your philanthropic mind is worthy of note, and it serves as a means of cushioning the state government’s goals for education,” Hamzat stated.

The Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Sefiu Oyebola Adeyeri, also lauded Adegoke for his exemplary leadership in driving development at the school, which he had left many years ago. The monarch emphasized the need for collective efforts in advancing education, calling on other alumni and community members to emulate Adegoke’s kind gesture. He noted that such contributions would create a more conducive environment for students and staff, enhancing the overall quality of education.

The classrooms, constructed to modern standards, are expected to provide a significant boost to the learning environment at Koso Community Grammar School. The event highlighted the vital role of community support in complementing government efforts to improve education across Oyo State.
