The 2024 Batch C Stream II Orientation Course of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) officially commenced nationwide on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. In Ogun State, the programme began smoothly at the Permanent Orientation Camp located within the Gateway International Stadium, Sagamu, where prospective Corps Members were warmly welcomed and registered seamlessly.
Excitement filled the air as the prospective Corps Members arrived at the camp, ready to embark on their service year. The Ogun State Coordinator, Mrs. Olayinka Diana Nasamu, supervised the registration activities personally, ensuring that the process was efficient and well-organized. Her active involvement motivated the Corps Members and set a positive tone for the programme.
In her welcome address, Mrs. Nasamu encouraged the Corps Members to be open about any health challenges they might have so that appropriate care and support could be provided. Her reassurances fostered a sense of inclusivity and trust, creating an environment where the Corps Members felt supported and valued.
As the registration process nears completion, the prospective Corps Members are currently rehearsing for the official swearing-in ceremony, scheduled to take place on Friday, January 24, 2025. The event promises to mark the beginning of a memorable and impactful service year for the Batch C Stream II Corps Members in Ogun State.
