The milestone event served as a tribute to the school’s journey since its establishment in 1985, highlighting its impact on generations of learners. The celebration was marked by songs of praise, prayers, and speeches, all recognizing the institution’s growth and contribution to education in Nigeria.

Speaking at the event, the Executive Director, Mrs. Lai Koiki, attributed the school’s success to God’s divine providence and restated its dedication to fostering lifelong learning. She emphasized Greensprings School’s mission to inspire confidence and responsibility in students, ensuring they emerge as global citizens prepared for future challenges. The occasion was commemorated with a grand thanksgiving service at the Fountain of Life Church, where students, parents, alumni, staff, and well-wishers gathered to express gratitude for four decades of educational excellence.

A key highlight of the event was an exhortation by Toluwani Odukoya, an alumnus of the school, who spoke on the importance of teaching as a calling. Also present was Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Abimbola Salu-Hundeyin, who commended the school for its commitment to character-building, innovation, and leadership development.
