Lagos – A hybrid multi-level marketing company, Richlance International, has called on the Federal Government to incorporate technology studies into the primary school curriculum, emphasizing the vast opportunities in the global tech space.
The Chief Executive Officer of Richlance International, Engineer Faithful Samuel, made this appeal during an interview at the company’s official launch and award ceremony in Ikeja, Lagos. He stressed the need for early exposure to digital technology, urging the government to invest in tech education and support youths with innovative ideas.
“Government should adopt a tech curriculum for our primary and secondary schools. Some outdated subjects in the current curriculum should be replaced with tech-related courses. Our children need to start learning about technology from an early age because tech has taken over the world,” Samuel stated.
Drawing parallels with Richlance International’s business model, he highlighted how technology is revolutionizing financial opportunities. “With just a smartphone, individuals can become shareholders in over a thousand different companies. While some businesses are shutting down and leaving the country, we are expanding because we are not dependent on a single source of income. Our platform provides over a thousand digital services accessible from the comfort of people’s homes,” he explained.
Samuel also advocated for increased government investment in digital technology as a means of reducing cybercrime among youths. “I do not support cybercrime, but I believe that if the government invests more in digital technology and supports youths with innovative ideas, it can either eradicate or significantly reduce cybercrime,” he added.
The event, which was attended by government officials and private sector representatives, also featured a recognition segment, during which 28 cars were awarded to the top promoters of the company.
