The Federal University of Education, Kontagora (FUEK), announced the opening of its Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) portal for candidates seeking to change their institution of choice.
In a statement released on Thursday and signed by the university’s admission officer, Hannatu Dodo, the institution encouraged prospective students passionate about quality teacher education and academic excellence to select FUEK as their first-choice university.
The university is inviting candidates who scored 150 and above in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), as well as holders of the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), to apply for admission.
With academic activities set to commence soon, the university urged interested candidates to visit any accredited JAMB Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre across the country to initiate the change of institution process.
Reaffirming its mission, FUEK stated its commitment to producing highly skilled and professional educators who will play a vital role in advancing Nigeria’s education system. The university aims to serve as a hub for training the next generation of transformative teachers dedicated to national development.
