The Executive Chairman of Ikorodu Local Government, Prince Adedayo Ladega, has earned a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) from the University of Lagos at the institution’s 56th Convocation Ceremony held at its Akoka campus.

According to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Executive Chairman, Akeem Mustapha, the academic milestone reflects Hon. Ladega’s commitment to lifelong learning, excellence, and effective public service delivery.

Hon. Ladega graduated alongside other students at the colourful ceremony, which attracted academics, government officials, and members of the public from across the country. The statement noted that the MPA programme has further strengthened his capacity to integrate advanced public administration principles with practical governance, particularly in driving sustainable development initiatives in Ikorodu.

Reacting to the achievement, Hon. Ladega expressed appreciation to the University of Lagos for its role in developing leaders equipped with the skills required for modern governance. He reaffirmed his determination to deploy the knowledge and competencies gained from the programme to enhance infrastructural development, promote economic empowerment, and deepen community engagement across Ikorodu Local Government.

The statement added that the accomplishment underscores the importance of education in fostering effective, responsive, and progressive leadership, describing the Chairman’s academic success as a positive example for public office holders and young people aspiring to leadership roles.
