The International Award for Young People Nigeria has donated 85 laptops and MTN MiFi devices to principals of public schools in Lagos.
The initiative, part of the New Award Leaders Training, took place from September 17 to 20, benefiting 140 trained educators from six education districts.
The distribution included resources for 20 schools in District I, 14 in District II, and 12 each in Districts III and IV, along with support for Districts V and VI. These tools aim to enhance online tracking of student progress through the Award’s Online Record Book platform.
Participating principals praised the initiative, with Mrs. Oluronke Oluwu highlighting the devices’ potential to boost student engagement. Oshoke J. Bello, National Director of the International Award for Young People Nigeria, emphasized the importance of these resources in ensuring student success in the Award framework.
