Covenant University aims to emulate the prestige of Harvard University, according to Chancellor Dr. David Oyedepo.

He highlighted its recent ranking among the top 1,000 universities globally during the university’s 19th Convocation,

Dr. Oyedepo expressed his vision for the institution, emphasizing the importance of adding value to education in Nigeria. He noted that, despite the country’s challenges, the university’s focus on strategic program development and character building sets it apart from others.

He also revealed that he has never received wages from the university since its establishment in 2002, underscoring his commitment to making a meaningful impact on society. His motivation stems from a desire to empower students to contribute positively to their communities.

In his message to graduates, Dr. Oyedepo encouraged them to find their purpose and remain aligned with their goals, assuring them that their contributions would be vital for the future of Nigeria.
