The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has announced a partnership with the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI), led by First Lady Oluremi Tinubu, to strengthen healthcare, education, and other developmental efforts across Nigeria.

NDDC Managing Director, Dr. Samuel Ogbuku, revealed this collaboration after meeting with the First Lady at the State House, Abuja. Ogbuku commended RHI’s impactful projects, stating that the commission saw the need to align with the initiative’s goals to enhance healthcare and educational services.

A joint medical outreach will mark the first step in the partnership, pooling resources from both NDDC and RHI to provide better healthcare access. Ogbuku further noted that the collaboration would extend to job creation and women empowerment initiatives through the NDDC’s Youth Internship Scheme.

Ogbuku emphasized that the partnership aims to improve the well-being of women and youth in the Niger Delta and expand development programs throughout the region.
