ASR Africa has graduated 40 female mentees from its three-month mentorship program at Al-Qalam University, Katsina, aimed at turning students’ talents into business ventures and fostering financial independence.

The program, focused on career, personal, and entrepreneurial development, was designed to promote job creation and financial freedom.

Dr. Ubon Udoh, Managing Director of ASR Africa, emphasized the importance of STEM education and entrepreneurship for young women and encouraged the graduates to apply what they’ve learned. The Vice Chancellor of Al-Qalam University, Prof. Nair Musa Yauri, commended ASR Africa’s impact on the institution, acknowledging their support for education and student empowerment.

The mentees, mentored by experts from various fields, were awarded certificates and the ASR Africa Achievers Award during a closing ceremony that highlighted the organization’s commitment to human capital development in Nigeria.
