Engr. Fidet Okhiria, Managing Director of the Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), has officially handed over to Mr. Ben Iloanusi, the Director of Public Procurement, following the completion of his second four-year tenure.

At the handover ceremony, Okhiria expressed gratitude to the NRC staff for their cooperation during his tenure and urged them to extend the same support to the new acting MD. The transition took place on October 18, marking the end of Okhiria’s eight-year leadership at the corporation.

The Deputy Director of Public Relations, Yakub Mahmood, reiterated this message, emphasizing the need for continued teamwork within the organization.

Iloanusi, a political science graduate from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, also holds an MBA in international management from South Bank University, London. His appointment as acting MD positions him to build on the progress achieved under Okhiria’s leadership.
