UNESCO postpones 2023 Global MIL Conference in Jordan

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan have postponed the Global MIL Week 2023 conference until further notice.

The Rector, Federal Polytechnic, Ile-Oluji, Ondo, Dr Ademola Ebeloku has warned the general public against a social media account on Facebook created by fraudsters to defraud members of the public in his name.

FUL graduates 2,511 students, 61 first class, 128 postgraduates, diplomas

A total of 61 students graduated with first-class honours, while 128 students were awarded master’s and post-graduate diploma certificates at the Federal University, Lokoja, during the institution’s 6th and 7th convocation ceremonies held on Saturday at the main campus in Felele, Lokoja.

A breakdown of the graduates shows that in the 6th set, 28 graduates achieved first-class honours, 319 earned second-class upper degrees, 376 attained second-class lower division, 197 received third-class honours, and 3 were awarded pass degrees. Unilorin has 36 patents — VC

Vice Chancellor, University of Ilorin, Professor Wahab Egbewole (SAN), says the university has produced a total of 36 patents geared towards impacting society and developing the nation.

500-Level Varsity Student Stabs 17-Year-Old Boy To Death

October 23, (THEWILL) – Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Bauchi State, have arrested a 500-level student of the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, for allegedly stabbing a 17-year-old student to death.
