ALX, Africa’s leading tech career accelerator, has graduated over 800 Nigerian learners as part of its first cohort of the Data Science program.

These Nigerians were among the 2,800 graduates across several African countries, including Ghana, South Africa, and Kenya. The program provided learners with essential skills in areas such as Python, SQL, data modeling, and cloud computing, equipping them for the digital workforce.

At the Lagos graduation ceremony, ALX Nigeria general manager Ruby Igwe highlighted the graduates’ dedication, emphasizing their potential to lead in the tech industry. The program’s success reflects ALX’s mission to empower young Africans with cutting-edge digital skills.

Marketing manager Seun Babajide-Duroshola added that this milestone is just the beginning, encouraging more young Africans to join ALX’s transformative tech programs as they continue to shape the continent’s future in 2024.
