The Emir of Zazzau, Ambassador Ahmad Bamali, has expressed concern over the frequent collapse of Nigeria’s national power grid, highlighting its adverse impact on the country’s educational sector.

Speaking at the 2nd Annual National Conference organized by the National Teachers’ Institute (NTI) in Kaduna, Bamali noted that power instability is particularly disruptive to e-learning initiatives across Nigeria.

He called for urgent intervention to stabilize the power supply, stressing that reliable electricity is essential for educational advancement and access to digital resources. According to the Emir, sustained power failures limit students’ ability to engage in modern learning methods, hindering overall educational progress.

Bamali’s remarks underscore the need for infrastructure improvements to support Nigeria’s education system, which increasingly relies on digital tools that require a stable power supply.
