Prof. Bernard Odoh, the newly appointed Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, has called on stakeholders to unite and support his vision for advancing the institution.

Addressing concerns over protests and questions about his qualifications, Odoh emphasized the need for peace to foster meaningful development within the university community.

Odoh’s appointment as Vice Chancellor followed a rigorous selection process, validated by the National Industrial Court and the university’s Governing Council. His qualifications include a PhD in Applied Geophysics from NAU and years of academic and administrative experience, including a professorship since 2015.

Odoh urged the media to verify facts before publication and outlined his five-year development blueprint for the university, focusing on progress and innovation.
