President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and FUTA Vice-Chancellor Professor Adenike Oladiji have called on Nigerian youths and students globally to draw inspiration from Professor Daniel Kolawole Olukoya, General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM).
Speaking at the combined 34th and 35th convocation ceremony of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), where Olukoya received an Honorary Doctorate of Management Science, they highlighted his academic achievements and dedication to societal upliftment.
Representing President Tinubu, University of Ilorin Vice-Chancellor Professor Wahab Egbewole commended Olukoya’s significant contributions to education and his commitment to supporting the less privileged. Governor Aiyedatiwa praised Olukoya’s philanthropy, including constructing a Microbiology Laboratory at FUTA, offering scholarships, and rewarding 492 first-class graduates globally this year. “He inspires young people to reach the pinnacle of their careers and make impactful societal contributions,” the governor noted.
FUTA Vice-Chancellor Professor Oladiji explained that the honorary doctorate recognized Olukoya’s dedication to improving education and humanity. In his response, Olukoya expressed gratitude for the honor, emphasizing the joy derived from positively impacting lives and underscoring the importance of education and spiritual growth in achieving societal transformation.
