A leading school in Lagos is set to host a groundbreaking STEAM exhibition titled ‘Innovate, Create, Elevate: Empowering the Future with STEAM’ on March 13. The event will bring together students, educators, and industry experts to explore the transformative power of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) education.

A key highlight of the exhibition is the presence of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Lagos State on Basic and Secondary Education, Eniola Opeyemi, who will serve as the guest speaker.

The exhibition will showcase a range of innovative projects developed by students, focusing on real-world challenges such as climate change solutions, traffic management, the Internet of Things (IoT), robotics, renewable energy, and physical computing. The event will also highlight the creative integration of art with technology through coding, robotics, and other STEAM concepts.

According to the Head of School, Mrs. Yetunde Adebiyi, the exhibition aims to emphasize the importance of STEAM education in preparing students for the future by fostering creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking.

“The exhibition will showcase how interdisciplinary learning can inspire problem-solving and innovation. It also provides students with a platform to present projects that combine arts and technology,” she stated. “This reinforces our commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and practical learning.”

The event promises to be an exciting opportunity for students to demonstrate their talents while engaging with cutting-edge technologies that will shape the future.
