Ibadan – The Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology (FCAHPT), Ibadan, is set to graduate 820 students as part of activities marking its 61st anniversary.

In an effort to raise awareness about the milestone event, the institution organized a roadshow across major areas of Ibadan on Wednesday. The roadshow covered prominent locations such as Apata, Iyaganku, Dugbe, Mokola, Agodi Gate, Beere, Oja Oba, and Challenge, attracting the attention of residents and passersby.

Established in 1964, the FCAHPT has been instrumental in training professionals for Nigeria’s agricultural and animal health sector. Over the years, the institution has maintained its reputation as a leading center for education and research in animal health, husbandry, and production technology.

Speaking about the upcoming graduation ceremony, the college’s management reaffirmed its commitment to providing quality education that aligns with global best practices. The graduating students are expected to contribute significantly to the country’s agricultural development and food security.
