Nze Ventures Home Ltd, a leading real estate company, has donated ₦2 million to support the development of entrepreneurship skills among students in Enugu State. The donation was announced on Thursday during the Student Business Summit, organized by the Michael Anike Foundation at the International Conference Centre, Enugu. The company said the gesture was part of its corporate social responsibility, aimed at encouraging students to embrace entrepreneurship and practical learning.
Speaking at the event, the firm’s Operations Manager, Comrade Arinze Osmund Ngwu, who represented the Managing Director, explained that the donation was made in partnership with the summit organizers to equip students with the knowledge and confidence to become self-reliant. He noted that the ₦2 million would go towards supporting the summit, which serves as an incubation platform for students from various tertiary institutions in Enugu State.
Comrade Ngwu commended Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for fostering a business-friendly environment that encourages youth innovation and entrepreneurship. He also urged students to take advantage of opportunities in real estate, adding that Nze Ventures Home Ltd offers incentives such as 10% commission for individuals who refer buyers to the firm’s properties in Ogbeke and Amokpo Nike. “When students are empowered with the right skills and guidance, they can not only improve their own lives but also contribute to building stronger and more prosperous communities,” he said.
In his remarks, the Local Organizing Committee Chairman, Comrade Onyemaechi Onah, praised Nze Ventures Home Ltd for the support, describing it as a major boost to the summit’s vision. He expressed hope that the sponsorship would inspire other corporate organizations to invest in youth development, particularly in entrepreneurship and innovation. Onah assured that the funds would be used judiciously to achieve the summit’s goals and pledged continued collaboration with institutions committed to empowering students.
