Anchor University, Ayobo, Lagos, has said entrepreneurial education is now compulsory for all its students at all levels.
Speaking during the matriculation of about 545 students into the school, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Samuel Bandele, explained that a student would not be able to graduate if he or she did not pass every entrepreneurship course that will span over every level.

Scholars from different parts of the world gathered at the Osun State University, Osun State, to discuss issues around global sustainable development, including pollution, global warming, overpopulation, ocean acidification, deforestation, ozone layer depletion, and others.

The gathering was the third International Sustainable Development Dialogue, titled, ‘Making and unmaking Africa: Global developments and environmental humanities,’ held to address the issues above.

Eight Katsina Permanent Secretaries Fail Competency Exams.

The state Head of Civil Service, Mr. Usman Isyaku, who disclosed this in an exclusive interview with THISDAY, said 13 out of the 21 permanent secretaries passed the examinations.

He explained that those who passed the written and oral examinations were reappointed, while those that failed were given options by the government to either retire as permanent secretaries or return as directors.

Hope rises for people suffering from epilepsy as Vanderbilt university in collaboration with Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital (AKTH) and Bayero University Kano (BUK) have concluded plans to hold an international workshop on developing future leaders in child neurology and epilepsy.

The workshop which is slated to take place at Britol Palace Hotel, Guda Abdullahi Road, Farm Cenre, Kano, will commence on Tuesday.
