the latest Inaugural Times Higher Education’s (THE) Sub-Saharan Africa University Rankings for 2023, Benson Idahosa University has emerged top-ten among private universities in Nigeria and the top three among Nigerian universities.

THE’s Sub-Saharan Africa University Rankings 2023 was officially announced at the organization’s first forum which took place in partnership with Ashesi University in Ghana. The forum was themed ‘Revolutionising African Higher Education.’

JAMB saga: Soludo sends Mmesoma on three-month psychotherapy.

The Anambra State Government has taken a compassionate approach towards 19-year-old Mmesoma Ejikeme, who was caught forging her Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result.

The state Commissioner for Education, Prof. Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, announced that Mmesoma has been handed over to a psychotherapist for three months of guidance and counselling.

Danfodiyo varsity postpones first-semester exams over non-payment of tuition fees.

The management of Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto has postponed the commencement of its first-semester examination by a week over the failure of students to pay tuition fees which denied them access to register for the 2022/2023 academic session.

Tribune CampusXtra learnt that the recent development, which was confirmed in a circular from the school management, was the fourth time after the previous deadline for closure of registration portal lapsed on Thursday.

Old students gift alma mater classrooms.

Old students of Anglican Comprehensive College, Offa, Kwara State, Class of ’83, have donated two fully furnished ultra-modern classroom blocks and office spaces to their alma mater.

A statement signed by the President of the Class of 83, Mr Sanusi Mudasiru, who is also Chief Audit and Assurance Officer, at United Bank for Africa Group, said that the donation was part of the activities to mark the set’s 40th reunion anniversary.
