EU offers 5 Nigerian Universities grants to start Masters programme in AI

The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi state has been selected by the European Union (EU) as one of the eight universities across the World for a Grant to start a Master’s Degree programme in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The benefitting universities in Nigeria are the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, the University of Portharcourt, the University of Abuja, Obafemi Awolowo University and the Michael Okpara University, Umudike.

Students worry over tuition costs as UI resumes Monday

UniCal: NFF urges Tinubu to sign Sexual Harassment of Students Bill

The Nigeria Feminist Forum (NFF) has expressed deep concerns over the recent allegations of sexual harassment leveled against Mr. Cyril Ndifon, a Professor of Law at the University of Calabar (UniCal), Cross River State by female students of the institution.

Educational Assessment: JAMB, NMA, NISER, Others Form National Assessment Academy

A group, Southern Kaduna Youth and Students Forum (SKYSF), has appealed to President Bola Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani to appoint Kaduna native Dr Abdulmalik Durunguwa as a replacement for Nasir El-Rufai for the ministerial job.

The former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, had since tendered his resignation for the ministerial appointment following controversy surrounding his nomination over security issues.

Lagos hinges ISO certifications on giant strides in education reform

The Lagos State Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA) has said the ISO certifications got by it showed the important strides taken in revolutionising the education sector.
In a statement, yesterday, its Director-General, Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, said the obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification validated the agency’s exceptional quality in regulating pre-tertiary education in Lagos State while the ISO 21001:2018 reinforced its dedication to pupils’ centeredness and good quality educational services.
