Unilorin completes phase two asphalt overlay road project

Management of the University of Ilorin has completed the second phase of a 500-metre asphalt overlay road project bankrolled by the Federal Government.

The project, which is in addition to phase one of 1.3 kilometres from the school gate to a distance after the University’s Jalala Estate junction, is part of the FG’s 2022 Capital Appropriation Fund of 5.5 kilometres asphalt overlay on the existing road surface from the university’s entrance gate to the Senate Building Roundabout. Teacher docked for allegedly flogging female student

The police on Tuesday arraigned a 43-year-old teacher, David Yusuf, in a Wuse Zone II Magistrates’ Court in Abuja for allegedly flogging a student of the Government Girls College, Kuje, FCT.
