Senator Imasuen, representing Edo South, has filed a petition to the Nigerian Senate, claiming that Chizitere Obioha’s UTME result was withheld after she declined advances from an invigilator during her examination at Wisdom House CBT Centre, Ogba, Lagos, on April 22, 2024.

Chizitere’s father alleged that the invigilator, identified as Mutiu Olayemi, gave his daughter a piece of paper with his phone number, asking her to call him, which she refused.

Despite complaints from the Obioha family, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) maintained that Chizitere was involved in examination malpractice based on a report from the examination center’s Resident Monitor, not Olayemi.

In response, Olayemi denied any wrongdoing, stating that he did not hand his phone number to any candidate and was currently in Abuja, as directed by JAMB, to defend himself against the accusations.
